TS6 is nice, as it flags itself as it connects, during the PASS, it tells its uplink if its able to handle TS6 or not, so far Hybrid/Ratbox and others have been able to mix the TS6 and TS5 ircds

TS6 would save some bandwidth, what would really save would be tokens and TS6 style together
