mIRC and Ultimate IRCd are two seperate programs. If you are unfamiliar with IRC, you should check out #Beginner Website or Internet Relay Chat (IRC) Help. Ultimate IRCd forums are best suited to helping IRC Server Admins rather than users. Beyond those sites, you can look to the network you wish to connect to for help. Most networks are happy to help a new user get setup.
